Angelo Mazzetti is the Head of Public Policy for Italy, Greece, Malta and Cyprus.

Angelo joined Meta as an Associate in 2016, and he was shortly after appointed as the youngest lead of a public policy team in Europe in 2020. 

As such, he is in charge of designing Meta’s engagement with national institutions, Governments, Parliaments and regulatory authorities, while being an official company’s spokesperson. Angelo leads a five-people team advancing the company’s advocacy strategy and dealing with legislative and regulatory issues in a variety of areas such as competition, copyright, privacy, connectivity and data. 

Before joining Meta, Angelo was a digital entrepreneur and founded a start-up operating in the food sector. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations at LUISS University, where he graduated cum laude and was awarded for writing the best dissertation of the year. He has published several papers on tech regulation.
