Marco Muraglia is involved in advertising since the mid 80’s, working in some of the more important media and advertising agencies: starting at JWT, then Medianetwork and following at Initiative.
In 2003 he co-found the media agency “Muraglia, Calzolari & Associati”, acquired in 2008 by Publicis Groupe and becoming MediaVest Italy.
CEO of SMG Italy from 2008 and 2013, in 2014 he became Chairman and kept the role until 2018.
From 2016 to 2023 he has been Chairman of Audiweb, the Joint Industry Committee that measures the internet audience in Italy. Currently he is Audicom’s Chief Executive Officer, the new JIC founded in 2023 after the merger by the union of Audiweb (the former JIC responsible for the digital measurement) and Audipress (the former JIC for the readership).
Audicom’s aim is to develop the integrated research on the fruition of multimedia contents on digital & print (editorial and/or advertising, static and/or video) and to offer data at the highest level of comparability, cross media, screen and platform.
