Lucia Ruggeri is Full Professor of Private Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Camerino. She is the Coordinator of the PhD in “Civil Law and Constitutional Legality” at the School of Advanced Studies of the University of Camerino. She is also the Director of the School of Specialisation in Civil Law at the University of Camerino.  She has held national and international conferences and seminars.

She is the Author and Editor of numerous publications focusing on energy law and consumer protection. She is also Responsible for the Unicam Research Unit on Consumer Protection and the Energy Market within the EnSiEL Consortium and member of the Scientific Committee of the “Centro di Ricerca per gli Studi Giuridici sui Diritti dei consumatori” of the University of Studies of Perugia.

She has received the funding for several research projects, also of international importance, including the FAR2020 project “ECPE: Enabling Consumer to become Prosumer in the Energy transition era”; the FAR2022 project “ESCOP4Green: Enhancing Sustainable Consumption and Production for the Green transition” of which She is Principal Investigator.
